Another scheme Pace Projects has been responsible for is a heat treatment plant at Cumbria .
This scheme was a more specialist installation.
The first part the new scheme was to remove an existing pressline from the mill. This included presses, coolers, fans and cyclones, all of which had to be removed in order for the installation of the new heat treatment plant.
Incorporated into the new scheme were products that were existing. Again using the 3-Dimensional design program, all parts of the existing machinery had to be drawn.

Pace Projects also designed, manufactured and install a whole range of new equipment and machinery. Many of these products can be seen in our product range. A few are listed below:
- Screw conveyors
- Twin Chain & Flight Conveyors
- Elevators
- Steelwork Extensions and flooring
Along with using existing machinery another factor was the limited room to work in. But due to the capabilities of the 3-D designing, this was made easier than using conventional AutoCAD drawings.
The finished scheme has now been installed and has a capacity of 8TPH. The project was completed well within the expected timescale (2 weeks ahead of schedule) << Back to Case Studies
